London Underground

The London underground opened in 1868 and it’s the oldest in the world.

Also, it’s one of the busiest in the world after New York.

London Waterloo is still the busiest station in the UK

The London underground has 11 lines and handles about 5 million passengers a day.

It has 270 stations across London.

London Bridge, King’s Cross and Waterloo are the busiest stations in the city.

 

The most magnificent stations on the London underground are Westminster, Southwark, Leytonstone  and Canary Wharf.
